I was born in Southern Spain, but my parents are British and Dutch. Aged 18 I left for London to study Physics, where I spent seven years in total: my degree, my masters, and, after leaving behind two years PhD work in Astrophysics, a year's work for e-shopworks, an online retail consultancy. I left for Barcelona, Spain, to work for iSOCO, a B2B and e-commerce solutions provider. After two and a half years I returned to London where I have been involved mostly in contract work.
Sposh has been my nickname for many years now, it is short for "Spanish Josh" (in London I knew quite a few Josh's and we had to tell each other apart somehow).
